My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5-6 year old Cecil has been through a lot in his life. He was removed from a hoarding/cruelty situation and found himself on death row in hot and overcrowded TX shelter. We knew we could not let that be the end of his story and brought him to Idaho. Despite his horrible circumstances Cecil is very friendly with other dogs. He is shy with people at first but warms up quickly. He’s very mellow and just likes to hang out near his people while they bbq or watch tv. Cecil's ideal new life will have another dog to play with, he loves to play with the other middle-aged lab in his foster home. He absolutely loves the older child in his foster home as well! Cecil's idea of an outing would be to go for a stroll around the neighborhood, and stop for some doggie ice cream at the end of the walk. One day, Cecil got out of his yard and walked to the ice cream shop by himself. That being said, Cecil needs a secure yard to prevent him from going on snack adventures. If this is hilarious and quirky middle-aged fellow sounds like a great fit for you and your family, please apply below: freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, vaccination and his rescue flight from TX. Cecil is based in Boise, but it available for adoption throughout the PNW.
