Beautiful Sprinkles would love to be your new best friend. We believe Sprinkles was left behind when her family moved out (unthinkable!) and can't believe how loving and sweet she is despite this horrible beginning. Lucky for Sprinkles, she was rescued by a loving soul and arrived at our rescue happy and healthy. She is the easiest girl, content to nap in a pool of sunshine and occupy herself while you are at work but delighted to see you when you return. She is a lovely companion, happy to cuddle up beside you and softly purr when you are near. Like most youngsters, her favorite thing is to scroll through cat games on your phone. Sprinkles will talk to you in gentle chirps and makes her foster mom smile every day. When she is not on her phone, Sprinkles enjoys playing with interactive toys and using her scratching posts. She seems interested in her foster mom's dogs though she's only met them through a gate. She's pure white purrrfection. No Dwight's need apply!

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
