Peace was found wandering as a stray in Flushing before being brought to Manhattan ACC. Peace's finder described him as very friendly.
Good with other pets?
Peace will likely do well in a home with other dogs. During his dog-to-dog assessment, Peace was friendly with a wagging tail and play-bows. Peace arrived as a stray, so we don't have any records of his interactions with dogs or cats prior to entering our care. Since ACC does not do cat-testing in care, we are unsure of how Peace would be with cats.
Good with kids?
Peace is very friendly and sociable, but will occasionally try to jump on you for attention. Due to this, he would do best in a home with kids over 5 who understand how to interact with dogs respectfully.
How is my health?
Peace was examined by ACC's Veterinary Team, and other than being slightly overweight, he was given a good bill of health!
How are my leash manners?
Peace pulls mildly on the leash and would benefit from some basic leash manners and polite walking training.
What is my behavior assessment?
Peace has a level 2 behavior assessment, meaning he is suitable for most adopters with some dog experience. Peace is a sweet, social boy looking for a forever home.
Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 68 Age: 3yrs 8mths 4wks
