My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Deemster and I am such a funny and affectionate dog. I am always up for a good laugh and a snuggle session on the couch. I'm a good boy who is eager to learn and find a family who will love me for who I am. I am an adult, so I'm already trained and have lots of love to give. I may be a bit older, but I am young at heart! My ideal family will be able to give me lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. If you feel like you're the right fit for me, please come and meet me today!

Indigo's Rescue Ranch is located near Medora, Indiana (Jackson County). We are located approximately 1 hour south of Indianapolis and 1 hour north of Louisville, Kentucky.

More about this rescue

Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
