For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi! I’m Benedict! I go by Bennie for short and I certainly know my name when you say it. Foster mama says I’m such a gentle giant and such a good boy. I’m a very big boy weighing in at a little over 15 pounds! But don’t worry, it’s all height and muscle. I’m not overweight even though I do love my food. I’m very laid back and like to calmly watch the happenings around me. I wish I could tell my story of why I am again looking for my forever home. You see, I was adopted over two years ago with another kitten. Then out of the blue I was surrendered to the humane society! Well of course this wonderful rescue didn’t hesitate to come get me and take me back in. Foster mama keeps asking me why they would just give me only up but I sadly can’t answer her. I even have seven little kittens with me and I don’t mind them at all. We just hang out and if they get too rowdy, I just get up high on the chest. I like to lightly play with some toys but I pretty much will just be a good out and about in the house buddy with you. I can’t do it where I’m at but I know when I was younger, I liked to sleep with my humans but I might need my own side of the bed now! I have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I will be good with sweet and gentle kids, cats, and dogs upon a proper introduction. I’m dreaming of a forever home one more time. If that could be you, please reach out so we can hopefully meet!

Potential adopters are always encouraged to reach out to the rescue and do a meet and greet. Additionally, we do have cats at the Petsmart at Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway and the Petsmart off the Loop 303 and Waddell Road.
