Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home
Yin is a lively and playful young kitten searching for his forever home. Once, he shared his days with his sister, but now that she's found her own family, Yin is ready to find his special someone too-could it be you?
This curious little guy lives with two resident cats who aren't quite ready to be his best friends, but that hasn't stopped him from trying! Yin is always up for making new connections, and he had the time of his life visiting his foster dad's school, where he was the star of the show, entertaining a room full of admirers.
Yin adores his people just as much as he loves his toys-wand toys, moving objects, or even his own tail will do in a pinch. He thrives on interaction and would be happiest in a home where he gets plenty of playtime and attention.
When he first arrived, Yin was a little reserved, but his inner snuggle-bug has blossomed. Now, when he's not pouncing and playing, he loves curling up in a cozy bed or even better, in someone's arms. Once you earn his trust, Yin will reward you with endless purrs and affection.
If you're looking for an affectionate, fun-loving companion, Yin could be the perfect match for you!
Yin is about seven months old, he has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date with his vaccinations.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
