My name is Koga!

Koga ran up to my friends very scared one night during a wind storm, crying for safety. He easily followed them up to my apartment and made himself at home. I decided to keep him with me for a while since he seemed to have been abandoned and some of his behaviors made me suspect he'd been mistreated by a past owner. He's declawed and seemed afraid of being on the furniture. He also often flinched if someone moved too suddenly. He also seemed to be afraid of most cat toys. He doesn't play with them much, even now. Since taking him in, though, he's grown much more comfortable sleeping nearby, cuddling, and even playing a bit. He loves being near people, but doesn't get along with other cats. He is very sweet and vocal, and would do best with someone who only wants one pet. He does get a bit anxious sometimes, but overall, he has an easygoing nature that would make him perfect for a first time pet owner.
