My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

contact foster parent at mamawolfof5@gmail.com

If you enjoy TV (especially loud sports) with a cuddle bug that likes endless head scratching, this is your girl!!!

Iris is a friendly, cuddly 5 year old tripod. She has spent several months recovering from a dog attack that resulted in the loss of her back leg. But she is recovered and ready to find her furever home.

Despite her injuries, she never showed any aggression or fear toward anyone. She was a vet favorite due to her gentle and friendly nature no matter what.

In a home, she loves the TV on and considers that her queue to cuddle and sleep next to her person. She loves endless head scratches and will seek you out and mew until she gets them.

She no longer has the rear leg power to jump up so she is floor bound unless you pick her up and place her on the couch or bed (she can easily get down on her own). She enjoys being picked up and placed next to you for head scratches.

She needs a dog free home due to her trauma. Other cats would need to be gentle with her and slow intros since she can`t jump up to escape. Small children are not recommended not because she would harm anyone (she is incredibly gentle) but she couldn`t escape and is scared of her paws being pulled (understandably, her leg was ripped out of the socket).
