Girlie Pop, aka Poppy, is an 8 week old 2 pound kitten from the NYCACC. She and her siblings were found orphaned and surrendered to the shelter to find a foster home to raise them. Poppy is a shy girl at first, but quickly warms up and seeks affection. She'll do best with a family who respects her space and earns her trust. She is easily bribed with treats. She is SUPER playful with her siblings and would do best in a home with an active cat.
We think she'd be best in a home without small children due to her initial shy behavior. Like all Waggytail kittens, Poppy will need to be adopted to a home with another playful cat or kitten. She'd make a great pair with any of her siblings.
Vaccinated for FVRCP. Microchipped. Needs neuter, snap test, and rabies when of age and weight.
To apply for Girlie Pop, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.
