My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bronco is just the best boy. Known for his gentlemanly manners, he’d make the perfect addition to any family. He seems to already be potty trained, and he sits if he even thinks you want him to sit – he doesn’t even need the command! He’s well behaved on a leash and doesn’t pull at all. He’s quite gentle and calm. Bronco typically has a lower energy level…unless there’ something to be playful about! He enjoys a game of fetch with toys, but he’s ready to be done when you are. He’s always ready to be snuggled and pet! He also gets along well with other dogs.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
