My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a compact-sized, mixed breed guy that we think might have some Feist and Labrador Retriever in him. He has a beautiful red coat with white markings. He has a wonderful personality and is dog and people friendly. Max does well on a leash, is motivated by attention from people, and is an all-around good guy.

Max has been chosen to participate in the Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program at Roxbury Correctional in Hagerstown MD. At the conclusion of his training he will have completed: house training, crate training, leash walking, and other basic commands.

Upon request, videos can be made available of Max interacting with people and other dogs.
