My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Maisie! I'm an adult lady with a heart full of love. I'm as sweet as a summer peach and friendly like your favorite neighbor. Walking? I'm your gal. I'm quite the professional when it comes to leash manners. Other dogs? Oh, I adore them! I've never met a dog I didn't like. I'm not too hyper, not too lazy - just the right amount of energy to keep you smiling. So, why should you adopt me? Well, I'm a loyal companion, a walking buddy, a fellow dog lover, and a sweet soul to brighten your days. Let's make beautiful memories together!

Unfortunately Maisie has been added to the urgent list due to her dog selectivity, her escape artist abilities as well as due to her length of stay since 08/30/24. She has done well when tested with other dogs at the shelter, but once she warms up in a home setting it has been known previously that she displays very dominant traits.
