Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Great big muscular heavyweight, Zeus, is a surprise. Trapped outside as a stray, he is a mellow hunk of easy living guy. There is not a feral bone in this cat's body. Whatever struggle he lived through while trying to stay alive as a homeless cat, he is over it. Now it's the soft warm comfy cat bed and the yummy plentiful cat food at regular times that Zeus has made as his new life. He never wants to go back.
Zeus is probably around 5 years old. Full grown and muscled up, now working on adding fat. He is a super duper easy going fellow who seems to have no desires whatsoever but to lay out on HIS comfy bed and show up for meals.
He does love being pet by the kind gentle person who feeds him and provides the special bed. He is perfectly fine with the other cats as they wander around and do cat things. The dog is there too but the dog doesn't try to take his bed or his food, so all good. Zeus has been known to hiss. There might have been a tiny hiss when he was dropped off the side of the vet's table and one person grabbed and held him by the neck while another person grabbed him by the middle and he was pulled back onto the table. Any other cat would be expected to put out claws or teeth; but with Zeus, there might have been a hiss.
He's ready for retirement. A loving family, a comfy home. Maybe, possibly in the summer, he will want a spot in the warm yard where he can bask in the sun. We predict more activity in the future. But for now, as the song goes, he's built for comfort and not for speed.
Probably best in a home without little kids, Zeus is in Anchor Point but he could catch a ride as far as Anchorage for a great family. Call 907 980-8898
