Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breed: Lab/Boxer Cross (Boxodor)
Birthday: June 1, 2023
Stella is 14 months old. She is spayed and microchipped and house trained.
Stella has been crate trained. She is not fond of the crate but will go in when required.
Stella is very intelligent and very active and needs lots of exercise. She is funny and loves to smile. She is easy to love.
Stella has been to puppy class and basic obedience. She knows and listens to the basic commands. She has a great recall.
Stella is super friendly and loves both children and adults.
She loves to snuggle and she does sleep in bed with us. (This might need to be worked on.)
When meeting people Stella tends to get a little excited and still jumps up. She is so happy to meet new people.
Stella is very friendly and lovable.
She has not had a lot of experience with other dogs but she seems to get along nicely. She can play a little rough as she has been brought up with her brother.
She might find the first week or two difficult as she has never been without her brother.
Stella hates trailers and cries and shakes when asked to go into a trailer.
Stella also is not fond of cars. She will be OK for short periods, going to vet, etc. but she really would rather stay home.
Owner Suitability
Stella needs to be active and would benefit from someone that wants a dog to run with or to take long walks with.
A fenced backyard would be a definite asset. She loves being outside and running. She is just starting to learn to bring the ball back.
A home with children would suit Stella just fine. She was raised with small children and has been living with a 7 and 8 year old.
Make sure that there is no trailer and no plan for a trailer in the future. She really hates trailers. She is fine with a cottage or other types of dwellings.
As mentioned, Stella is not fond of cars. She doesn’t mind going to the vet or anywhere for that matter. She just doesn’t like being in the car for any length of time. She can whine and cry a little if the ride is too long.
She is a lovely dog, looking for love and a family that will make her part of their household.
She will need a few weeks to adjust to being without her brother and will require a little extra love and attention until she is settled in.
Owners are only looking to rehome her because they spend up to six months a year in a trailer.
