My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Sweets, and just like my name suggests, I'm as sweet as can be! I'm a gentle 5-year-old beagle who came in as a stray, but I didn't come alone-I have my sister, Gertrude, by my side. We're a bonded pair, and wherever I go, she's got to come along too. We've been through a lot together, so we need a home where we can stay together forever.

I'm a pretty laid-back gal. I don't have the energy of a puppy anymore, and I'm perfectly happy with easy walks where I can sniff around and enjoy the scenery. I'm not much of a trickster just yet-commands and tricks are still something I'm working on-but I'm always willing to learn if you're patient with me. At first, I wasn't sure about treats, but once I warmed up, I couldn't resist them. Maybe we can spend some time together learning new things!

Sometimes, large crowds make me a little nervous, but I walk really well on a leash and enjoy the company of a quiet environment. I promise, with a little love and understanding, I'll be the perfect companion. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate friend (or two!), Gertrude and I are ready to fill your home with double the love!
