My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Gertrude, a 5-year-old beagle with a heart as big as my floppy ears! I came in as a stray with my sister, Sweets, and we're a bonded pair, which means we're double the love and snuggles. I'm a bit on the shy side, especially when it comes to loud noises or busy streets, but I'm working on it, and with patience and love, I'll build my confidence. I may not know my name yet, and tricks are still a mystery to me, but I'm eager to learn!

One thing's for sure-I'm easy to walk. I'm not one to pull, and I'm always happy to meet other dogs, even if I'm a bit skittish at first. Once I warm up, I'm all about gentle pets and cuddles. If you're looking for a calm, sweet, and laid-back companion (and don't forget, Sweets and I come as a package deal!), I just might be the perfect pup for you. Let's go for a walk, and I'll show you how easygoing and lovable I am!
