Spirit is a small, dainty and gentle cat. Her triangular face, large ears, slanted eyes, and aquiline nose give her an exotic look. She came into rescue at only six months old and was already halfway through a pregnancy. She was a diligent mom to three big, healthy kittens, who now have wonderful homes. Spirit isn’t a lap cat, but she does adore being petted and enjoys being carried around – she even likes having her belly stroked! She turned one year old in August and is still only 8 pounds and playful like a kitten. She loves chasing toys, climbing, using her scratch pad, and exploring the house to hunt for bugs. She plays very gently with the senior male cat in her foster home. She is intimidated by cats who play too rough, but she would love to be the companion of a senior cat or a smaller cat or kitten. She’s also completely comfortable with the large, gentle dog in her foster home. And because she enjoys the company of humans, and plays independently much of the time, she would probably be happy as an only cat.
