This helps Fulton County Animal Center with pet care costs.
Meet Zelda!
Zelda came to us as a four week old kitten, with severely infected eyeballs and a bad upper respiratory infection. After numerous rounds of antibiotics and surgery to repair her eyes, she is ready to find a home.
Zelda will need to have eye lube/medication put into both eyes, for the rest of her life. She had Bilateral Fused Conjunctiva, repaired in 8/2024; however it will re-fuse if not treated on a daily basis. This condition along with the repair, damaged the tear ducts that would normally keep her eyes lubricated on their own.
Zelda also always sounds stuffy, as a nasal polyp was also found when she was under anesthesia. It was removed, but the scarring caused damage in her nasal passage.
Spayed, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Her adoption fee is waived to an approved adopter.
We can provide the eye lube medication monthly, for a reduced cost to her adopter. She will be sent home with a free first initial tube at the time of adoption.
Or the adopter may choose to purchase it their veterinarian. We highly recommend her adopter has a good relationship with a veterinarian in case she needs further vet care throughout her life.
