My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION: TIKI is a sweet, gentle approximately 3 year old female looking for her very special family. This little lady showed up under a rural home with her brood of young, scared and hungry babies just looking for a little safety and warmth. The little family was very lucky that the people in the home reached out to find the cats help instead of just shooing them on. We were full at the time but a friend of the people and good supporter of ours stepped up to foster this kitty family until the kittens were old enough to wean and we had room. The cat family was terrified and needed to be trapped to be brought into foster care but once their they decompressed and their fun and sweet personalities started to shine. Tiki found her kittens safety and a chance at lives as well loved family members, now that the kittens are weaned it is time for Tiki to find that same stability and love. Tiki is a friendly and affectionate cat once she gets to know you. She really enjoys gentle pets and cuddles and will often be found chatting away while being pet. She’s been fairly low key while in our care, preferring to find a comfy spot to watch the other cats play vs joining in herself. Tiki would happily pair with another calm and friendly cat but is not looking for a wrestling buddy at this time. She was in foster in a busy dog kennel and does not seem to be at all bothered by easygoing pooches. Loud, rowdy children are overwhelming for Tiki but she is very open to making friends with kids that can be calm and gentle. Currently Tiki is a low energy, low maintenance girl just looking for a home with comfy spots to lay and watch the world go by. Her more energetic side could come to the surface once she is settled in a home. Tiki is very happy indoor only but she may come to enjoy a sunny afternoon in the catio. Tiki is now spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a chill little lady apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet TIKI #NWASTiki
