TECUMSEH (named for the great Shawnee chief & warrior, early 1800s, Ohio) is a handsome black & white kitten with a cute little mustache, born mid-April of 2024; he's playful, curious, sometimes friendly, sometimes affectionate but also a bit reserved & standoffish.
Best homelife for him would be a tranquil home without a lot of noise & activity.
He was among a group of young outdoor kittens who were caught & brought inside for socializing (away from their feral momcat).
Bribing with food like real chicken or tuna (or anything the cat really likes) is usually the way to a scared kitty's heart - Tecumseh needs someone to spend several weeks providing as much one-to-one food bribery as possible; and he'd blossom even further!
They came from a Miami Avenue address, so all were named for Indian Tribes & American Indian names. They were all bought inside when they were pretty young & grew up together with a variety of cats & kittens in their foster home.
Litter mates; Sequoia (Tortie F), Tecumseh (Bl & White M) and Wenona (Calico F) were born to a semi-feral, outside mom-cat around mid-April, so they're about 4 months old. (Momcat was spayed & vacc'd - no more kittens for her!).
They grew up with close cousins, Lakota, Cheyenne & Miami, Cherokee, Choctaw & Comanche, who were born around the same time to other outside momcats, adult siblings (they was also spayed & vacc'd - no more kittens for them either!)
