My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chloe is a stunning three-year-old black beauty who loves people. Chloe is affectionate and independent and craves human attention. Get ready to love her - she will seek out pets from you with her endless head-butts and constant purring. Hopefully you have lots of time for pets because she absolutely adores being pet on her forehead, cheeks, and chin, and once you start, she’ll never want you to stop! Chloe is also a curious girl who will follow you everywhere, checking out what you're up to next. She’s playful, too, and laser lights, springs, and string toys are her best friends. Chloe has a unique little meow that sounds more like a baby cow than a cat, which is absolutely adorable. She's the perfect work-from-home buddy, happy to keep you company during the day and join you for a nap on the couch when the work day is done. Chloe is gentle and well-mannered, always keeping her feet on the floor and away from the table. Chloe loves to eat, and will quietly wake you up when it’s time for breakfast. Due to food sensitivities, she only eats a diet of duck food (wet, dry, and kibble). Chloe would thrive in a quiet, child-free home where she can be the only cat, as she startles easily with loud noises and since she isn’t fond of other cats, she must be the only cat.

Chloe came to us as a pregnant stray from a managed colony, far too friendly to be living outside. After giving birth in a foster home and being a wonderful mom, Chloe is now spayed and ready to find her forever home at last.

If you’re looking for a friendly, playful, and curious companion who only wants to be by your side, Chloe is the perfect match for you. Do you have lots of time for giving pets and don’t mind endless head-butts? Then you might just have the perfect home for Chloe!

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
