Meet Jay Jay!
Be ready to meet possibly the sweetest dog in the whole world. Jay Jay is truly the kindest, most loving, and gentlest soul around. He is a labrador retriever mix with an estimated birthday of 01/10/2024, and is 45lbs and growing. Jay Jay came to us after he and some friends had spent the spring roaming around a local campground, when Jay Jay was sadly hit by a car. Although he was in a lot of pain when we met him, all he wanted to do was crawl into our laps and give us kisses. Thankfully, Jay Jay's injuries were minor overall. He suffered from a crack in his pelvis, and had to endure over a month of crate rest and exercize restrictions. Jay Jay has been officially medically cleared, and we couldn't be happier for him! Since Jay was on medical rest, we got to spend lots of one-on-one time with him and learn lots of things about his wonderful personality. It turns out, that loving, snuggly dog we met on day one is just who Jay Jay is to his core! He is always happy to lay on your legs and enjoy some snuggles in the sunshine, and Jay Jay gives the gentlest kisses around. He walks great on a leash, although sometimes he'll get a little excited, and he is already mastering some basic obedience skills. Jay Jay has never met a soul he couldn't love. He is thrilled to spend time with other dogs, cats, or children. Of course, if you already have any dogs at home, a meet and greet is required prior to adoption.
Jay Jay is fully vetted and microchipped, but not yet neutered. His adoption fee is $175.
