Meet Roy - a sweet 11 year old lab/pittie mix from Temecula whose owner passed away. He made plans for his family to take care of him and another senior dog, but the family neglected to do so. A friend of the rescue rescued him and his adopted brother (see 'Hamme' under available dogs) to prevent him from getting euthanized at the shelter.

Roy is well-mannered, house-trained and great on a leash. He has a very calm demeanor, and yet is spry and will be a good walking/hiking buddy.

Please consider adopting a senior pet as they receive the least applications yet are some of the best pals.
