My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Haesol🤍🤍

* Toward People: Occasionally runs away when people try to hug or suddenly touch him, probably due to his memory of living without contact with people. If people approach cautiously and pet him, he will accept and enjoy the touch.
* Toward Dogs: Feels slightly burdened by lively dogs but tends to remain still even when dogs push their faces close to him and smell him.
* Separation Anxiety: Has no separation anxiety at home and normally sleeps when he is with other dogs. Barks as a demanding signal in 10 minutes when kept in a kennel or cage for hoteling.
* Potty Training: May make mistakes indoors at first, but will use potty pads once he is used to it. Appears to be an outdoor potty dog because he holds himself until the last minutes. Is a perfect dog for outdoor potty.
* Hygiene: Is terrified and dislikes bathing, either because he is not used to it or because of his hump on the body.
* Walks: Walks well without pulling the leash.
* Car sickness: It is unknown because he has never riden in a car before.

💌Health Status💌
* Neutering: Done.
* Others: Is scheduled for tooth scaling.
* Has some spinal stenosis, thus his gait is slightly unstable. However, his condition does not require surgery.
* The surgery to remove the lump has been completed. The liver is inflamed and needs to be managed while the eyes have nuclear sclerosis.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
