Meet Apollo: The Laid-Back Adventurer with Perfect Manners
Name: Apollo
Breed: German Shepherd
Age: Almost 3 Years Old
Backstory: Abandoned by His Owner After Nearly 3 Years Together
Dog-Friendly: Great with Other Dogs
Special Skills: Master Listener and Trained to Perfection
Favorite Thing: Throwing His Ball or Playing with the Water Hose
Story:
Apollo, a stunning German Shepherd, has been through more than any dog should. His owner had him since he was just 6 weeks old, but after almost 3 years together, Apollo was heartlessly surrendered. The Airman who claimed to be going on deployment left him behind, even though that wasn't the truth, leaving Apollo at risk of being euthanized. Thankfully, the shelter staff saw his potential and reached out for rescue, knowing he wouldn't make it in the shelter environment.
Apollo is a master listener and comes with all the training you could want in a dog. He's independent but loyal, not overly clingy, but always happy to be near. Whether it's fetching his ball, splashing in the water hose, or simply hanging out, Apollo is ready when you are.
This smart boy is also an ideal adventure partner. He loves going for walks, enjoys car rides, and is up for anything outdoors. His calm and collected personality makes him great around other dogs, and he'll win over anyone who's willing to toss his ball.
Apollo is waiting for a forever home where his loyalty and adventurous spirit can truly shine. If you're looking for a companion who's trained, laid-back, and always ready for fun, Apollo is your perfect match!
