What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is our dog Link, he is about 5 years old. He is a rescue dog that we have had for about 4 years now. This dog is wonderful and deserves more than what we can give him - mainly what he needs is time and patience to help him see through his training and work through his own anxieties. We have patience, but not as much time as we would like because we have a toddler and a new baby. Link came from a traumatic hoarding situation and has had an incredibly tough past, so ideally the home he goes to would be a single person/couple looking for a best friend to invest in and train with them. It will take consistency and dedication but he is a fast learner, is eager to please, and really enjoys training so hopefully it wouldn't take too long. Due to his trauma he has behavioral issues and he is on medication. We have worked with a behaviorist for years, we know his triggers and what works for him and we're happy to share the modification plan and set up a session with our behaviorist.
