Billie is a 3 year old grey/ginger domestic shorthair with the prettiest green eyes! She’s super sweet and silly - always up for pets or a game of fetch. You’ll often catch her chilling in the windowsill or under the bed. She likes her own space, so she would do best in a stable home without kids or other pets. She can take a bit to warm up to new people and places, but she’s beyond lovable once she does! She doesn’t bite or scratch, but she may hiss to let you know when she’s uncomfortable.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
