Hello everyone! Meet Lola! This petite girl is ready for a home to call her own. She can be a bit reserved at first, taking in her surroundings, but once she gets to know you, her true personality shines through. She is quiet but loving and her favorite past time is to hang out in the window watching the birds outside. She has been around other cats here at the Adoption Center but we don't know how she feels about dogs. Could Lola be the one for you? More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
