Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Run, Forrest, Run! And that he will with his skinny little legs making it adorable to watch. And maybe it’s more of a gallop? We’re not sure but we do know it’s cute. Forrest came to HSAC after being found living outside of an abandoned home with 15 other cats. Forrest has a funky grill that prevents hit tongue from staying in his mouth, but it makes him him. Forrest was dealt a crappy hand with poor genetics causing him some minor health issues but he has had surgery and all of his teeth removed. Forrest will need to be on a wet and soft food diet. Forrest loves to play with toys, especially jungle balls that he can chase. And you can catch him performing his famous sneak attack on nearby cats. He just loves to play and share his happiness with others. And those belly rubs, those are the gateway to his cute little heart. Forrest is an indoor cat, litter box trained, and ready for adoption! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
