My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**🐾 Dog for Adoption: Pinky**

**Female, 3 years old, English Pointer

- **Health:** Pinky is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and protected against kennel cough.

- **Background:** Pinky was hit by a car which injured her back leg. She had surgery and made a full recovery but her owners never were found. But she is an amazing dog and is fully recovered and ready for her furever family.

- **Personality:** Pinky absolutely loves humans. She is also very smart and loves to be mentally and physically busy. She likes toys and puzzle games and would be a fantastic dog in obedience. She is a typical velcro dog and once she bonds with her people she will want to be with them and will think they are the most fascinating people ever.

She loves other dogs but can be a bit over exuberant when meeting them. engagement and needs a home where she’ll be kept busy and stimulated. When bored at the shelter, she moves stones around as if they were toys or gazes up at birds. Inky can live with other dogs, but she needs companions who are active and non-dominant, as she can be clumsy and may rush up to sniff them.

- **Compatibility:** Piky currently lives with both a female and male dog. Typical of her breed she is a friendly and sociable girl who gets along well with other dogs. She can be very exuberant when she first is introduced but otherwise she does great from the get go.

More about this rescue

CAUSE 4 PAWS is a not for profit group in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We work with animal rescuers to help facilitate the rescue and adoption/foster of abused and/or homeless and abandoned animals and assist with the coordination and placement of these animals in forever homes. We only serve the Greater Toronto Area.

We predominantly rescue dogs. Our animals are adopted directly from foster care in most cases. We do not have a shelter.

We also work with a few partnering rescues in Ontario, US, and over seas. We cherish the relationships we have established and work very closely with these partners in order to facilitate a successful adoption. We are serious about our ad process and want only the best for our animals. We focus on finding the best fit for both animal and adoptee.

Cause 4 Paws is looking for volunteers to help with many different tasks such as administrative, transportation, fostering, fundraising etc. Please contact us if you are interested in helping in any way. To donate to our organization you may use our PayPal email address.
