Char | Shepard Mix | 9-Years-Old | Spayed Female | Approx. 67 lbs.

Sweet Char (Chardonnay) originally came to Lily’s in 2022 and was adopted into a lovely home. Sadly, her adopter passed away recently and kind friends took care of Char until she was able to make her way back to Lily’s.

Char is grieving the loss of her owner, having spent almost two years in her loving care. Char is shy, and is understandably adjusting to all of the changes in her life. That said, she is a loyal girl, ready to please and bond to her people. Char is friendly with other dogs but can be timid. She ignores other wildlife like deer and turkeys but will occasionally find a squirrel she wants to chase.

Char needs to lose a few pounds to be at a healthier weight but luckily her favorite activities include going for walks, being outside and playing in the water, so losing this weight should be a breeze. Aside from playing outside, Char loves belly scratches and ear rubs! She is a gentle soul with a sweet disposition and will make a wonderful loving companion for a lucky family.
