Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
When Vespa first came in, she was so underweight and malnourished that we thought she was a puppy! Our vets estimate her age to be about 2 years old, however she is quite small, perhaps from a lack of proper nutrition. Despite her rough past, she is such a loving and sweet dog! Vespa arrived with a young male dog, and does okay with other pups. This being said, Vespa has a big bark! She gets SO excited to see new people and animals that she can't control her spring board "Tigger" jump. Vespa has has some experience with cats and has done well with our kittens! We still heavily encourage caution with any dog for new adopters in regards to meeting other animals. Vespa has sensitive skin and is on an appropriate food plan for this condition. For any questions regarding Vespa or her needs, please contact us at staff@whitmanpets.org.
Vespa is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
