My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here in Texas, we’re always praying for a little downpour! And here he is! Meet the friendliest, most playful Rain shower. This boy is full of energy – He is bouncy, fun-loving, and incredibly social. He would transition well into a home with other pets for him to run around with. Right now, he is living with five other dogs, so he is always kept busy. Rain comes when he is called and responds eagerly to his foster mom’s whistle. He also knows how to sit, and is learning several other commands as well! After a fun day of zoomies, this cutie is no stranger to a good snuggle, either. He loves to sit in his foster mom’s lap and fall asleep while getting pets. Rain is a happy puppy, through and through. If you’re ready to soak up some rescue love, apply to meet him today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
