My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiro is a very high energy boy who loves to run, jump and play. While we are not sure how he would do with cats, he seems to be good with other dogs and kids ages 8+ years old. Kiro knows how to sit, come, wait (wait for it), down, jump and paw. He does need some manners and leash training as he tends to jump on people and pulls when walking on a leash. He is very treat motivated, which will help in the training process. Kiro seems to gravitate more towards women but is happy with anyone willing to give him attention. He is a chewer and will need lots of tough toys. If left alone he will bark and howl for a little bit but will settle down. Giving him enrichment before you leave, such as Nyla bones, Kong's with peanut butter, etc. Kiro love to just be where his people are and can be a big cuddle bug. He was house broken when he came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. Kiro does well sleeping in his crate at night and sees it as a safe space. If you would like to meet Kiro, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit him and all our other adoptable animals. HNB
