* Came to us as a stray with a dog friend
* Very shy and scared of new things, needs a patient adopter that will allow appropriate warm up time
* Uncomfortable being held and likes attention on her terms
* Once in her human bestie club, will give you kisses and circle you for pets
* Lives in a foster home with several other dog friends of all sizes
* Did require a slow introduction with dogs before becoming besties
* Playful and friendly with certain dog personalities
* Would do best in a home without cats- not aggressive, just obsessive
* Needs a home without small children
* Working on house training, still does have occasional accidents
* Chihuahua experience is a bonus

Visit inapl.org to print out an adoption application. If you are interested in a specific pet please remember to write their name and kennel number(there are multiple animals with the same name in our shelter.)

Cat/kitten adoption fee: $85
Includes: Spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia/Heartworm testing, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

***Cats adopted from PetSmart (Anderson location) get an adoption packet from PetSmart with valuable coupons for a free bag of food, discounted toys, etc.

Dog/Puppy adoption fee: $100
Includes: Spay/neuter, Heartworm test, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

Dogs from the F.I.D.O. shelter dog prison program adoption fee: $150
Includes: Spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, Heartworm test, microchip, wormer, a free vet exam to use at a participating vet. They are also crate trained, house trained and know their 5 basic commands.
