I hear that you have always wanted a dog just like me: big enough to push you out of bed in the morning, sweet enough to follow you anywhere, fun enough to play in the park, fetch in your yard, or sleep at your feet-that's me! I would love to learn to play ball, go on hikes, or on a trip to the mountains with the family. I could even carry a back pack for you-once you teach me. I have all the qualities you have dreamed about; now it's time to make good on your promise to the kids to get them a dog!

A Team member notes: Dove is a love; a gentle gal who warms up right away & stays close.
Another team member notes: I enjoyed spending time with this handsome lady in her room. She is calm, loves people and getting affection. She also stayed close to me and gave me some polite kisses.

Adoptions are completed on a first come, first served basis. Please note there may be a wait to meet with a pet, dependent on advisor availability.

Please allow plenty of time to meet your perfect pet. Once you have selected a pet, the adoption process will take at least 30 minutes. We do not begin the adoption process after 5:30 pm.

Animal Humane New Mexico performs a background check on all adopters & does not adopt to anyone who has committed a violent crime. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption for any reason.

Please note, visitors must wear their mask indoors at all Animal Humane locations.
