My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Dory, and I'm on a journey to find my fur-ever home. Maybe that is you? Some fun facts about me: I love going on walks, and I get compliments on how well I do on a leash. My favorite place to go is the park, where I can show off my frisbee skills. I'm a very snuggly girl, and I love giving hugs - no one can resist them! I'm looking for a home where I can feel at ease and share my snuggles with someone who is patient and understanding, but who also likes to have fun. If your family has kids, please bring them for a meet and greet with me. I'm waiting - come find me!

A team member adds, "Dory is a delight. She loves on everyone she comes across, and it's hilarious to spend 1-1 time with her in her room, watching her pick the broccoli bits out of her enrichment treats (she's not a fan). Further evidence she's smart: she picked up the "place" command almost instantly. She already knew "sit" - her version of "sit" is actually an adorable bow - you really need to see it to appreciate how cute it is. She still has some young pup energy - she is always so excited to see you when you go into her room, but she'll follow your example to calm down, eventually resting on or beside you and offering her belly for some extra TLC."
