My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi human, thanks for clicking on me! Was it my soulful eyes or inquisitive facial expressions that caught your attention? What can I say, I'm a very charming guy. Just look at my cute white paws and tip of my tail, and freckle fun on my nose. I'm a terrier mixed breed filled with lots of love, affection and energy. I've done well with other dogs here at Animal Humane, both in doggie playgroups and just passing by on my walks. I'm also housebroken, and I know how to sit and take treats gently. I'm a strong guy, but I listen well, especially if you need to redirect me. I'm mostly just so excited to get out of my kennel for a good walk. Rawhides are my absolute favorite toy, and I love walking with one - it keeps me focused and it gives me an excuse to find a bench where we can hang out together and get some cuddles in while I nom on my toy. Yes, I'm a snuggler. I might look strong and stoic, but I'm really just a softie who adores humans, treats and a little TLC. If you're looking for a big lovebug to join your pack, I can't wait to meet you!

A team member adds, "Thrifter loves to take a toy with him on his walks, and he's such a cutie showing it off proudly to people he passes. He's very friendly and a good listener who knows "sit" and politely takes treats from your hand."

Another team member says, "It's very cute how excited Thrifter gets when he sees people, just wagging away, and he knows how to be gentle when it's time to take treats and get petted. Once he's walked for a while and gotten some energy out, Thrifter loves to find a bench or doggie run where he can lay by your feet and chew on his rawhide. He likes having you near, and he always makes sure he's turned to face you. I guess he knows people can't resist giving him pets and treats with that cute face. I can see him happily lazing around next to his forever family's feet or next to them on the couch."

Five fun facts about me:
Hello! My name is Thrifter but you probably already knew that. I wanna tell you somethings about myself that may get you to adopt me. One thing I do want you to know is that I am a little bit high energy but with a lot of walks and cuddles I will be your best friend. I am not picky when it comes to treats but my all time favorite is soft bacon treats if you give me some of those I will show you all of my tricks such as sitting and laying down. My most favorite thing to do is play with my puppy pals an find new friends to play with. But most of all I love all the cuddles I get from Animal Humane. I've been told I am the best cuddle bug ever! So come by and say hi to me and I will for sure win your heart with my cuteness!
