Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WATCH MY VIDEO! I am a big, sweet boy who is a good candidate for playing fetch, going on walks and then just relaxing with my peeps! I love to be pet, give kisses and reap mucho attention from my family.
A team member notes: I spent time with Gilbert in his room. He quickly became a loving dog, staying right in front of me for rubs and scratches. He also gave me some very polite kisses.
Notes from a recent Doggie Date: Gilbert did well in the car ride to the park. He walks well on leash but pulled a little because he was interested in exploring the new territory we took him to. The thing that stood out the most about him is that he loves attention and affection. You can pet him all over. He is super gentle taking treats and his kisses are so sweet. He was well-behaved at a quiet (non busy, no other dogs) coffee shop patio. Although he is big enough to have surfed our table, he did not. He does not jump up on you. Gilbert will probably make a really good family pet!
5 Fun Facts
I love all treats but hotdogs and peanut butter are my favorite! My favorite toy right now are rubber balls! Favorite activity is going on a run w/you. I am working on sitting right now.
I am energetic so I would be a great workout buddy!
