My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm happy and strappy, with beautiful markings. I think everything is fun, interesting and an opportunity to play. I'm just glad all the time, especially when I'm with you. Folks say my white tail looks like a flag wagging in the breeze. Everyone tells me how talented I am: I know "sit," "stay," "come," "wait," "paw," "down" and "roll over." Did I mention I can also catch treats? I'm eager to learn more, though! Will you be the one to teach me?

A team member notes: I spent time with Ricky in his room. He was very happy to see me, then calmed down. He stayed next to me and loved getting rubs and scratches. He did "sit", "down", and "shake" for me.

Another team member adds, "Ricky is such a friendly and smart guy. He knows pretty much every command and pays attention and is patient while you go through them all with him. He's great on a leash - perfect cadence for a nice, casual walk. And his tail never stops wagging while he's on a walk - he's just so happy to be out and about with you. He enjoys playing fetch and entertaining himself with a rope toy. If you're in the park or sitting on a bench, he will eventually plop down at your feet and either play gently with a toy or roll over for belly rubs. He's so happy spending time with people."
