My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sunny and just like the sun I feel like I could add warmth and shine to your life. I know you will to mine! I am good on leash and enjoy going for long walks, especially when I get to discover new sights and sniffs. I receive a lot of praise for showing I'm housebroken and sitting politely on command for treats. If you have doggos at home and I sound like a good addition to your pack, please bring everyone in to meet me. Everyone who meets me is impressed with my handsome-ness ... but I just want to impress you with love.

A team member adds, "Sunny is very affectionate and smart. He knows "sit" and almost has "paw" and "down" after just a couple of times working on those commands. He is a perfect gentleman while he's getting his harness and leash put on for walks. He is friendly to every human he meets, and he really enjoys exploring different places on his walks. He's very sweet in his kennel after a walk - we work on different commands for a while, but Sunny's ultimate plan is to flop onto his back, presenting his belly for pets and being silly for a bit. He would be a great companion for someone looking for a smart and loyal friend."

Another team member adds, "I took Sunny on a doggie date and had the best time. We hiked in an open space, and Sunny was in doggie heaven with all the new smells. He was confident and at ease and great on the leash. We stopped for a pup cup on the way back, and I think we've found Sunny's new favorite treat."
