My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for the ultimate adventure buddy? Meet Ember, a spirited and affectionate Husky/Basenji mix who’s ready to light up your life! This playful girl has energy to spare and is down for anything; a walk in the park? She’s there! A fun jog through your favorite trail? Sign her up! An exciting playdate with doggie friends; she can’t wait!

Ember is a friendly girl with a soft side too. She loves to snuggle up and relax after a day of adventures. Her foster mom loves her and says Ember gets along beautifully with her pups at home! They have the best time running around in the yard and playing tug. If you’re looking for a best friend with the biggest heart and lots of love to give, Ember is your girl. Apply to meet her today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
