Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sariah is a three-year-old, 35-pound, friendly, sweet, smart, and playful, fawn and white female medium-sized terrier-mix pup looking for a loving guardian.
Sariah is wonderfully playful with other friendly male dogs – especially other terrier type dogs.
She is living in a foster home where she has been absolutely wonderful with her humans, and loves to meet new people. She gives everyone the most gentle kisses. She loves to be loved and adores attention.
We haven’t seen her with cats or kids, but she’s lovely on leashed walks, and learning all her commands come and sit – anything for a treat!
Sariah is crate-trained and housebroken if kept on a schedule. She can live in an apartment or house. She’d love a yard to romp in with dog friends, but she’s not picky.
Found homeless in Chicago, Sariah had previously had a litter. She found herself in a cage at Chicago Animal Care and Control. While at the shelter, the volunteers singled her out for playgroups and loved her.
She is extremely healthy, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue.
To meet and possibly adopt Sariah, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
She is currently being fostered in the Chicago suburb of Oaklawn, but, she can certainly come to Chicago or surroundings to meet her potential family.
