My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hold onto your mixtapes, because the galaxy's most charming pup is here and ready for adoption! Meet Quill, the pup who's got the moves, the grooves, and a heart as big as the cosmos. If you're looking for a four-legged friend with a lot of personality and even more love to give, Quill is your guy!

Quill is on a mission to find his forever home, and trust us, you'll be hooked on a feeling the moment you meet him!

Quill's Super Skills:

Dance Machine: Quill's got the best puppy dance moves in the galaxy. Whether it's wagging his tail to the beat or doing a little happy dance when you come home, this pup knows how to boogie.
Charm Offensive: With his big puppy eyes and playful personality, Quill can charm his way into anyone's heart. Resistance is futile!
Adventure Ready: Quill is always up for an adventure. He's the perfect sidekick for all your earthly escapades.
Quill's Dream Home: Quill is looking for a home where he can be the star of the show. He loves people, gets along great with other pets, and is always ready to make new friends.

Adopt Quill today, and get ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and epic dance-offs in the living room!

More about this rescue

The vision for ACT has been brewing in the minds of the Animal Compassion Team founders for many years. The paths we have walked have prepared us and tested our determination through hard work, buckets of tears, mountains of fecal matter (a favorite topic of discussion amongst animal rescuers), and more than our fair share of discouragement and heartbreak. Having said that, why would we choose to dive in deeper? For the love of the animals we serve. It is just that simple. Dogs, cats, and other wonderful animals are dying in huge numbers daily. We hope to help change that. In August of 2009, we became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with California and the Federal Government. It was and continues to be, a huge leap of faith for all of us who already feel overwhelmed by the work we are doing, but we believe this is the time....this is what we have all been preparing for. One life saved makes all the effort and emotional investment worthwhile. This is going to be an exciting journey, and we hope to post MANY happy endings.

Our Mission Statement:

To provide a safe haven for domestic animals, regardless of breed or species, through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary. To advocate for the humane treatment of animals and promote the human-animal bond. To educate the public about the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership which will emphasize spaying and neutering. To cooperate and work with other animal rescues and shelters towards the goal of becoming a no-kill nation.
