My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mateo is a sleek, sweet grey tabby who is your happy-go-lucky little one. He is mild-mannered and happy to play with his kitty friends and brother (Monty). He would win 'Best in Show' at any kitty event because he is one special babe. And boy can he purr! He is happy to snuggle with his foster mama during nap time and at night and then frolics about the house to look for fun---whether it be in a kitty, cat toy or a cat tree. He would make for a perfect kitty in any configuration of household. He's grown up with two big dogs and is happy to share space with any and all. If you know perfect temperaments, you will see it in this 7 month old.

Adoption $200. Approx. 7 months Sept' 24.

Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!

All applicants must be prepared to provide proof of home ownership or a lease showing the pet will be allowed in the home

Approve Application

applicant will need to provide photos of the property detailing fencing and overall yard. More may be required

Interview

Interviews may be done in person or on the phone or at time of meet and greet.

PETCO - DOGS
Dog and puppy adoptions EVERY Saturday from 12:00-4:00 at the Napa Petco located at 3284 Jefferson Street, Napa, CA 94558.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
