Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Kallie, the 72-pound, 10-month-old ball of fluff who’s the perfect mix of Great Pyrenees elegance and Saint Bernard charm—or as we like to call her, the best of both worlds wrapped in a fur coat. This lovely lady came to us after she decided to take herself on a little adventure, wandering around as a stray until a kind-hearted good Samaritan scooped her up. When no one came to reclaim this beauty, she found her way to us, ready to start a new chapter.
Picture this: Kallie is your dream Netflix binge partner, only she’s way more beautiful and doesn’t hog the popcorn. This lovely lady is a quick learner, having already mastered the art of couch snuggling and perfecting the delicate balance between “I’ll just rest my head on you” and “Let’s share this space equally.” And, yes, she will get on the bed, but only if you extend a royal invitation. She’s polite like that. When it comes to meeting new people, Kallie plays it cool. She’s the type who takes a good 10 minutes to decide whether or not you’re worthy of her affection, but once she’s in, she’s all in. Think of her as the introvert who becomes the life of the party after a couple of “getting to know you” snacks. She’s also got a bit of a food security complex—because honestly, who doesn’t? So, be prepared for some side-eye if you don’t share your dinner.
Kallie’s leash manners could use some polishing, but that’s just because she’s so eager to see the world! She’s the kind of dog who thinks every walk is a grand adventure, and she’s ready to pull you along to the next exciting smell. On the bright side, she’s a natural when it comes to car rides, according to her previous chauffeurs. She’s all about the “I’ll just snooze while you drive” life, making her the perfect road trip buddy.
As for her social skills, Kallie is a bit of a chameleon. She’s happy to have a canine buddy to pal around with but is just as content as the one and only queen of her castle. Cats? Well, they’re fine, she supposes, but she’s not here to cause any feline drama. She’s also quite the gentle giant when it comes to kids—especially those who are sturdy on their feet. She’s got a soft spot for the little ones but is smart enough to keep her distance from your 8-month-old if he gets too curious.
Kallie is still figuring out this whole potty training thing, but she’s getting better every day. She’s already kennel trained, and once she’s got the whole “no accidents” thing down, she’ll be a free-roaming pro. As for barking, Kallie has a “speak only when necessary” policy. If the other dogs start the symphony, she’ll chime in, but she’s not one to bark just for the heck of it.
With Kallie, you’re signing up for a life full of love, cuddles, and a few surprises—like finding her trying to convince you that a 72-pound dog really can fit in your lap. She’s the perfect mix of regal and ridiculously cute, and she’s ready to be your new best friend. Just don’t expect her to play fetch—she’s far too sophisticated for that nonsense.
