Hi there! I'm Josie, and let me tell you, I'm a sweet, sassy bundle of love who's ready to find my forever home. I'm currently hanging out in foster care, and I absolutely adore being around my people! I'd thrive in a home where someone is around often, and I wouldn't mind snuggling up with you at night for some cozy doggy cuddles.

I can handle being left alone for a little while, but I do prefer it if you're not gone for too long. I might cry for a bit when you leave, but don't worry-I settle down and, lucky for you, I'm not destructive when waiting for you to come back. As far as housebreaking goes, I'm mostly there! If you take me out every 2-3 hours, I won't have an accident. And if I'm left alone for a bit, I usually do just fine-though sometimes I get a little too excited when you come back, and, well, a tiny tinkle happens.

I co-exist with other dogs, but I'm not a fan of overly energetic playmates-probably because I'm on the petite side! I'd prefer to be your only dog or to live with another calm canine. Cats? Well, I like them too, as long as they're on the calmer side. I did try to play chase with a cat once, and that didn't go over so well-got a little swat on the nose, but hey, I learned my lesson!

Now, here's the cool part-I get to come to work at FOHA with my foster mom! That means you can meet me on Fridays and Saturdays during visitor hours from 12pm-5pm. You can even just walk right in and say you're here to meet me!
