Meet Pony💙
Pony was on the euthanasia list at Korean City shelter in early 2021. Adogs couldn't let Pony, who had such a wonderful smile, go away, so rescued her promptly. She was adopted in the Los Angeles area of the United States in early 2023. However, owing to the adopter's circumstances, she was forced to find a new temporary care or adoption family.
* Toward People: Likes people implicitly, but tends to be a bit shy. If you give her enough time and approach her carefully, she will soon sit next to you! However, If you suddenly pick her up or rush at her, she will be very startled, so approach her cautiously.
* Toward Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs without any problems! Runs around and plays with other dogs who become friends with her over time. However, may snarl when other dog approaches while she is resting.
* Toward Cats: Gets along well with calm cats. However, may snarl when a cat approaches while she is resting.
* Separation Anxiety: Rarely has separation anxiety due to her independent personality.
* Potty Training: Prefers to go outdoor potty. Uses a potty pad very well, but tries to hold back indoors.
* Walking: Is afraid a lot of going for a walk. It is necessary to put her on a leash, harness, and double leash during walks only after gaining enough trust from her. May freeze on the spot when she hears a loud noise or something unexpected passes by.
* Carsickness: Has no severe car sickness! Stays calm in a car.
* Is so shy and much afraid. If you give her enough time and approach her carefully, she will eventually open her heart.
* Dislikes being disturbed while resting, so be careful since she may snarl if a dog or cat approaches her.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
