My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba is a charismatic and handsome fellow who found himself at MACS when his original owners were moving out of state and could not bring him along. He is a full grown adult cat with experience being around dogs, other cats, and children. He is a loving and affectionate boy who likes to spend time with people on his own terms. It's not uncommon for him to get up and greet anyone who says hello to him, even if he's in the middle of a nap. He loves scratches behind the ears and on his head, and will rub his cheeks on you to show how happy he is to see you! Simba most enjoys lounging in his raised bed, playing with catnip toys, or keeping his claws trim with a scratcher board. He is more than happy spending time on his own, but will gladly give it up to be with his people. Simba is not a big fan of being picked up and held, and prefers to do things on his own terms. Because of this, we recommend him going to a home that is not looking for a cat for snuggling and holding. He would do best with a family that gives him the space to stretch his legs out and relax where he wants. Prior experience with cats is definitely recommended! Simba is looking for a forever home to really be his true, authentic self and show off his loving and curious nature. If this sweet boy sounds like the perfect fit for you, fill out an application for him today!
