My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mickey is a nice size dog weighing in at 20 pounds. He is a total lap dog and loves to give kisses. He is 2 years old, our best guess for breed is shiba inu mix, his curly tail is adorable. He loves to play with other dogs but would make a great only dog too. He is a sturdy dog and very confident. Mickey would make a great agility dog as he may be part mountain goat, jk. He loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure. He has not been around young children, but definitely cannot be with cats. He is potty trained, crates well, and walks good on a leash. Mickey is a character and would be a good fit in most homes.

Mickey's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
